Dean is a graduate of New York University and has over 20
years of experience in the field of physical therapy. He
specializes in research and rehabilitation of orthopedic and sports
related injuries of the knee and shoulder incorporating a manual
focus. Dean lectures and has published articles on evaluative and
rehabilitative techniques with a manual and functional approach. He
is a guest lecturer at RWJUH Medical School in New Brunswick, NJ.
He has treated professional, amateur, Olympic, and high school
athletes. He has traveled with the US Olympic Rowing Team to the
World Championships in Gifu, Japan. He has also worked as the PT
for the NJ Nets in 1988.

Assistant Director, Princeton
Steve holds an undergraduate degree from the University of
Richmond and completed his Masters of Physical Therapy (MPT) at
Temple University. Steve became interested in the field of physical
therapy while playing professional beach volleyball. He
experiened numerous shoulder injuries which landed him in physical
therapy plenty of times and decided becoming a PT would
be the next step for him. Steve has now worked in an
outpatient clinical settnig for seven years. His interest in
hip and knee rehabilitation was fostered by three years working at
an in-patient setting which has transfered well to the out-patient
setting at Sports PTI. Steve has had additional training in
Mulligan concept, McKenzie technique, Maitland and he utilizes PNF,
joint mobilizations, and soft tissue techniques in his treatment
plans.

Staff Therapist/Official PT for US National Rowing Team
Marc brings nearly twenty years of experience to SPTI, receiving
his BA in Biology from LaSalle University, and his MSPT from
Arcadia University. He has extended his skills to outpatient,
corporate, school, and athletic department settings. He is
also the Therapy Provider for the US National Rowing Team and
travels with the team to such events as World Championships and the
Olympics. Clinically, Marc approaches physical therapy using
PNF; muscle energy techniques; mobilizations such as McKenzie,
Maitland, and Norwegian training techniques; Swiss Ball
stabilization; and functional exercises.

Staff Therapist
Bill brings an array of experience to Sports PT. He is a
graduate of Rutgers University and earned is Masters in Physical
Therapy from Baylor University through the U.S. Army. Bill
recently received his Doctorate of PT from Regis University.
He earned the prestigious specialization, Orthopedic Clinical
Specialist (OCS) in 2002, along with a Fellowship in Manual Therapy
through Regis University. Bill is currently a full time faculty
member of Temple University's Physical Therapy Program, where he
teaches a variety of classes. Bill emphasizes manual therapy
including joint mobilization, manipulation, muscle energy, muscle
stretching and soft tissue techniques. He is particularly
interested in the rehabilitation of the spine and is an active
member of the Orthopedic Section of the APTA.

Staff Therapist
Gianna is a graduate of Temple University where she earned both
her undergraduate degree in kinesiology and Doctorate of Physical
Therapy (DPT). Recently, she was appointed as an adjunct professor
in the Goodwin College of Professional Studies at Drexel
University. With experience as a Certified Strength and
Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), she will be the perfect fit to
teach the class "Sports Training and Conditioning." She is also a
three year varsity rower while at Temple University and a champion
of both National and International races and is an experienced
triathlete. Gianna is very interested in natural health and became
interested in the field of physical therapy during her many visits
to therapy as a patient. As a physical therapist she believes in
utilizing joint mobilizations, manual manipulation, PNF, and soft
tissue work. She is currently an active member of the Sports and
Acute Care Sections of the American Physical Therapy Association
(APTA). She is currently enrolled in a residency program in
Orthopedic Physical Therapy through Temple University.

Staff Therapist
Matt is a recent graduate of the University of Medicine and
Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ) earning a Doctorate of Physical Therapy
(DPT). Matt has always had an interest in sports and
rehabilitation. Playing soccer almost his entire life, Matt has had
his fair share of injuries which helped to spark his interest in
helping others get back to their sports as quickly as possible.
Matt has experience in a wide array of disciplines,
including rehabilitation of total joint replacements, acute
stroke victims and working with pre-prosthetic/prosthetic training
for amputees. Matt has recently introduced an on-site
(Princeton facility) sports conditioning program and is also now
conducting the prevent injury enhance performance (PEP) program to
local sports teams.

Staff Therapist
Lindsey earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the
University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ (UMDNJ) and her
Bachelor's degree from Rowan University where she studied Health
and Exercise Science, specializing in athetic training. Based on
her schooling, Lindsey has quite an extensive background in the
rehabilitation of different dysfunctions. Now that she is
practicing as a full-time physical therapist, she relies heavily on
her manual skills including McKenzie techniques. She is an active
member of the American Physical Therapy Association and in her free
time enjoys spending time with her new husband.

Staff Therapist
Nicole Siegel, PT, DPT is a graduate of Shenendoah University
where she participated in the dual Doctorate of Physical
Therapy/Masters of Athletic Training program. While there, she
was honored and awarded with the Peart Service Award; the
"Who's Who Among America's Physical Therapy students;" and was
honored for the Highest Cumulative GPA, and the best score on
comprehensive exams. She has presented research at the
Physical Therapy Combined Sections Meeting (CSM) on
"Examining the Efficacy of Rehabilitation for Chronic
Ankle Instability, an item analysis of the Foot and Ankle
Disability Index Sports subscale," and also at the National
Athletic Trainer's Association conference. She has even been
published in the Journal of Athletic training and Journal of
Orthopedic and Sports Physical Therapy (JOSPT). Nicole has an
extensive background in sports medicine, having spent time working
with high school, collegiate and professional teams, including
DC United, the major league soccer team in Washington
DC. Nicole believes in utilizing a blend of manual
therapy and exercise based approach to her treatment
plans. She has primarily focused on sports enhancement and
performance, as well as functional movement analysis of the knee
and ankle. Nicole would like to continue to improve her manual
skills and learn more about functional movement screens (FMS) and
selective functional movement assessments (SFMA). In her free time,
Nicole enjoys outdoor activities such as running, hiking,
skiing, soccer and white water rafting.
