Mid-Sole-
The mid-sole is the part of the
shoe directly above the outer-sole, and plays a huge part in shock
absorption and control. It may be composed of a compressible and
light material known as E.V.A., dense polyurethane, or various other
unique consistencies including air, gel, silicone, waves, torsion bars,
and bridges that either contribute to stability or promote
cushioning. It is one of the most important considerations in shoe
purchase because of its function in either cushioning or control. |
